Alissa Pivaral (she/her) is a painter, illustrator, and multidisciplinary craft artist from Louisiana. She is based between Southeast Louisiana and Richmond, VA, where she started Pivaral Studio in 2021. Her BFA is in Fashion Design from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017, where she specialized in natural dyes and was able to complete the Jeanology program with PRPS and Donwan Harrell in 2016. Currently she is traveling to paint murals and moderates figure drawing at the Visual Arts Center in Richmond.
